Talunori story-coloring books are designed to be shared, not just handed over. This short guide explains how each book works and how to get the most out of it with your child.

What's inside each book

Every Talunori book includes an illustrated story, printable coloring pages that match the story, a parent-only page explaining the book's purpose and themes, a few family discussion questions, and a simple related discovery — a science fact, nature note, or small activity, when relevant.

How to use it

There's no fixed order. Many families read the story first, then color together over a few sittings. Others color first and read after. The discussion questions work best as a relaxed conversation, not a quiz — there are no right or wrong answers.

Why we include a parent-only page

Children's books rarely explain themselves to the adult reading them. Our parent-only page gives you the context: what the story is really about, why we chose the theme, and a few gentle ways to bring it up if your child doesn't ask.

A note on expectations

Talunori books are made to support family conversations and encourage curiosity. They are not medical, therapeutic, or academic tools, and we don't promise specific developmental outcomes — every child moves at their own pace.

Printing tips

Each book is a PDF sized for standard home printing. For the best coloring experience, we recommend printing on plain white paper, 24lb/90gsm or heavier if your printer allows it, in black and white or grayscale to keep the line art crisp.
